Korean Ground Turkey Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • dash pepper
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • sliced green onion
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place ground turkey and garlic in large skillet & cook until turkey is no longer pink. 

  2. While turkey cooks, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes and pepper in a small bowl.

  3. Once ground turkey is cooked through, add the sauce to the skillet and stir to coat the turkey.  Let simmer 3-5 minutes.

  4. Serve immediately over cooked white rice (or fried rice) and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds (optional).
