When you’re 29 weeks pregnant and about to go tailgating for a solid 12-hour-plus day, you search and search for something comfortable AF to wear without going too casual. Did I mention it’s also forecasted to a be a sunny, hot day? Forget the classic hoodie + denim combo I almost always opt for on game day. I’m going to need something a little more easy breezy.
Thankfully, I found this speckled t-shirt dress in my alma mater cardinal red & it’s absolutely perfect. You know I love a good t-shirt dress! One of my favorite Instagram ladies (The Britt Kit) opened her own online boutique – The Bee Boutique – and it’s so fun. Britt has killer style & I love how casually cute and approachable her outfits always are. So when she shared this midi game day dress from her boutique, I added to cart immediately. The $30 price tag made it even better. That’s right.. $30! And also available in black. Just pair with a baseball cap and sneakers and game on. Literally. Or just run to Target. Whatever your Saturday may bring!
You get so much bang or your buck with this dress. The fabric is light, yet a good weight so you don’t feel bare underneath. You know what I mean? The length is perfect for fall & is on trend with side slits that add detail & movement to the dress. It’s a roomy, but flattering silhouette so even with my 29-week bump, I have plenty of room (wearing a medium).
This makes me think I need to be more open to options on game day. Like I said, I typically grab denim and get on with it. Now maybe I’ll incorporate more dresses or something. Not real sure… but I’ll keep you updated.
Do you have a game day you’re excited for?

This is such a cute look, even for just a chill weekend of running errands! I’m sure you’ll get a ton of wear out of this, too post-baby. You look great!
