The weather officially needs to cooperate so we can get the fall layers out. Don’t you think? I’m sick of summer fashion – even though casual dresses were my savior this season – and I’m ready for boots, sweaters, blazers and fun layering. Fall fashion just can’t be beat. And I realize I’m 1 of 1 million people who say that every year.
Even though I’ve crossed over to the third trimester and am officially shopping for some maternity options, doesn’t mean I’m not soaking up all the fall fashion inspiration. Pinterest is always my number 1 spot to go to plan outfits and see what’s trending. So, I compiled a few images to create a fall fashion mood board. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these – I used to do them all the time. Maybe since I’m not able to participate as much this season, I’m feeling the need to “window” shop even more. Anyway, with NYFW in full swing, I’m also soaking up all the street style. So good.
A few key things on my radar for fall 2019. Blazers (of course), midi skirts and sweaters, low-heeled ankle boots and printed knits. I’m typically drawn to solid colors and basics throughout all of fall and winter, but for some reason, I’m gravitating towards more prints lately. Checked blazers, graphic sweatshirts, floral skirts, plaid sweaters. I’m here for it all. One other thing I think you should indulge in because I can’t… great denim. So many edgy and fun styles this year, time to stray away from the typical skinny!
Are you excited for fall fashion?

I love, love, love your mood boards! I’m with you on being ready for fall fashion – the weather needs to make up it’s mind already! A midi skirt is at the top of my buy list for the upcoming season. I love that one picture of styling it with a sweatshirt!
Just sayin’,

I’m glad you love them! I forgot how fun they are to put together. You could totally rock a midi skirt + sweatshirt. I think it’s my fav combo right now! Bring on fall!
