Anyone else keep seeing Amazon Fashion items pop up on their Insta feeds nonstop? I have to say, I’ve been intrigued.
But here’s the thing. Amazon stresses me out a bit. Unless I know exactly what I’m looking for, the selection overwhelms me. I’ll quickly go from looking at women’s sweaters to children’s books to tech items we definitely don’t need, eventually closing the tab out of pure confusion. Don’t get me wrong, we have the smiling packages delivered to our doorstep more than anyone in our neighborhood. We love the prices and the two-day delivery (clutch during quarantine, right?!). It just isn’t somewhere I had been interested in shopping for clothing.
Until I was finally influenced enough to order one sweater. Which turned into two sweaters. And eventually a fresh pair of sneakers. Here are the few items I’ve ordered, and love, from Amazon Fashion.
Oh, and please don’t mind the premature snowy photos. We got over 3 inches yesterday and I’m now familiar with the term “snow squall”.
The $35 Turtleneck Sweater
Meet the sweater that made me take the Amazon Fashion plunge. After seeing a couple bloggers try it on and comment on the quality-for-price and softness, I couldn’t resist. In all honesty, I never would have ordered it based on the product photos shown. It fits way different than how it looks on the model – another reason it has always been hard for me to shop the Amazon site! I’m glad I trusted the peer reviews because this sweater will be on repeat all fall and winter. Definitely cozy and a perfect weight which can be worn layered up or alone. Also available in about 20 different colors/patterns, so have fun choosing!
The Long Cardigan + Reebok Sneaks
When I pulled out my go-to blanket-like long cardigan this season, I instantly felt I needed an upgrade to something more structured and modern. And what do you know, Amazon Fashion to the rescue. This long knit cardigan has also been all over Instagram, so the sizes and colors are becoming limited. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it. Another $35 score, it’s the perfect throw-on-to-look-put-together cardigan. I’ll wear it around the house, as a light jacket and layered up in the bitter cold.
If you saw my Prime Days picks, you know I was eyeing black sneakers. Honestly, I’ve been thinking about snagging a pair since last fall, but just hadn’t pulled the trigger. Just when my white sneaker game is in full force, the trend starts changing. Of course. These Reeboks are fantastic. I bought them because my white Reeboks are the perfect simple pair to wear with any outfit and they are beyond comfortable. Might as well own them in black, too.
SHOP THE LOOK
I’m curious, how many of you shop on Amazon for clothes? Do you have any tips to make it easier?
