My Faux Fur Coat Obsession Continues

If faux fur decides to stick around for eternity, I’d be totally fine with that. It’s one trend I’ll always obsess over and I absolutely love how it’s having a moment again this season. Adding a faux fur coat to your fall and winter collection is one of the best things you can do. I mean, if you like faux fur. Because I get it’s not for everyone.

The trend has been around for a handful of years already, but I’m still amazed by the variety of options available. There are patterned faux fur coats (I have a serious crush on this leopard print one) and an insane assortment fabrics that can go from super plush and soft to a more coarse, textured feel. And then the colors. So much assortment, I have a hard time deciding between them all. One of each, please?

Ok, no. That’s crazy. But, it doesn’t hurt to add another one to the closet. I try to pick something different each time. My OG faux fur coat is this one from Kenneth Cole – still available at Nordstrom Rack for under $100! I wear it all the time. Last year, I scooped up a plum, double-breasted option from Asos that I rotate on a weekly basis. This year, I’m split between buying another camel basic or going for one of those bold patterns. Thoughts? Check out all my favorites below.

What do you think? Bold or basic? Or no faux fur at all?

I’m also loving the faux, and IMO it all goes out but eventually comes back around in style. I never thought I would see tattoo necklaces outside of 1996 but this year I was proven wrong, haha!
