We’re having a… BOY!

We opted in for genetic testing in my first trimester, so we’ve actually known the gender for over a month now. Our gender reveal party was family only & we’ve been pretty lax about spreading the gender news since then. After keeping such a crazy secret about the pregnancy in general, we weren’t about to try that again. And now I’m glad I finally got around to announcing it on here.

T and I couldn’t be more excited about having a boy. Right after I found out I was pregnant, I was convinced it was a boy, but then started flip-flopping once we had doctor appointments. Lo and behold, my first inclination was correct!

Finding out the gender definitely makes things feel more real. We’ve also reached the halfway point (20 weeks!) and with a successful ultrasound behind us, it’s time to get down to business. There is a lot to do, including finding a few more pieces of furniture and figuring out what stroller to buy. If the next 20 weeks goes as fast as the last, our little boy will be here before we know it. So crazy!

If you have any newborn must-haves, I’m all ears on suggestions. It’s time to get shopping.
