How is the 4th of July next week? June simply disappeared, but I am excited for the iconic summer holiday. A long 4-day weekend, lake time, friends and family and fireworks! What could be better. A couple things look a little different for me this year, though. No celebratory cocktails. And my wardrobe will be solely based on comfort. Even though these favorite striped shorts will probably (fingers crossed) still fit next week, I’m planning on living in this easy & comfortable Abercrombie swing dress.
I’m 18 weeks along & am experiencing that awkward phase of looking bloated instead of pregnant. My solution? Loose dresses. At least on the weekends. I’m still squeezing into some of my normal clothes for work but it won’t last long.
Anyway… that issue aside. This Abercrombie swing dress is truly an awesome summer dress. Soft, loose, comfy and versatile. I’ve already worn it running errands with flip flops, at the office with a waist belt & blazer and then again relaxing at the lake. It would also be a perfect swim cover-up. Abercrombie offers tall sizes and I ordered a tall for extra length. Since my midi-dress obsession began, I’m less comfortable in mini dresses. I like that this one sits right above the knee and can be worn so many different ways. Abercrombie has been killing it in the basic category as of late. I highly recommend checking them out.
If you’re looking for me next weekend, I’ll be at the lake! Enjoying the sunshine (hopefully) and all that comes with a perfect summer weekend.
What are your plans for the 4th?
