Yes, technically I’m talking about yet another 90s trend currently taking over the fashion world. But to be fair, I warned you about this one back in October. The cargo pants! I specifically remember owning numerous pairs in middle school – none of which helped those awkward tween years. So, the way I came about owning a pair now is definitely by mistake (read all about that funny story here). But I can’t deny how much I have actually come to love them. And how many times I’ve actually worn them.
Ever since Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski officially made Dickies a sought-after women’s fashion brand this spring, I’ve been seeing more and more cargo pants pop up online and in stores. Even Target has jumped on board with their new trendy lines. That’s usually a good indicator to begin accepting the inevitable, right? Everyone will own a pair. Even so, I actually love the fact that Dickies is the number one seller. Sticking to the originals and under $75. Can’t beat that.
I’m still rocking the same pair Asos sent me on accident, but I shopped around for a few more options. My exact pair is still available, but in a dark green color instead of the burnt orange. I still think they’re amazing, and I’ve linked those here and below as usual. You can find cargo pants in a variety of cuts – wide leg, skinny, flare, tapered – so I promise you can pull this off. Pair them with a cool graphic tee and sneakers, a cropped top and Tevas or dress them up with a white button down and heels. It’ll all work… I promise. Simply channel your inner Kendall Jenner.

Oh my gosh, Dickie’s pants bring me back! So funny how trends seem to recycle themselves eventually. As always, such a cool outfit on you!

Literally cracks me up! I can remember dying for a pair of cargos in like 6th grade. I wanted them so bad. And they didn’t look much different than the ones I have now, lol. So funny!
