Would it even be spring without jumpsuits? Doubtful. Just like blanket scarves are essential for fall, jumpsuits are spring’s necessity. For me, it all boils down to versatility. This tween season can be the most frustrating – with the up and down weather, the muddy mess & the decisions on what to wear. That’s where jumpsuits save the day. Specifically a denim jumpsuit for spring 2019.
Denim jumpsuits are having a moment. And now is the perfect time to add one to your wardrobe. Whether it’s a light wash cropped option (I love this one from Forever21) or a darker chambray piece like the one I’m wearing from Target, you can style it over and over again in different ways. Versatility comes into play when talking about how to accessorize the jumpsuit – or even how many places and events a denim jumpsuit is appropriate for.
Since mine is dark, I paired white mules and a light blue bag with it for a more “spring-like” feel. I also plan to layer a light cardigan over or a dark turtleneck under when the air is chilly. Snakeskin booties will be a perfect match for a night out (or even at work) and a belt bag around the waist for festival season. Oh, and I definitely want to see how my favorite saddle shoes match up. I’m thinking pretty great.
See? Endless possibilities. And when the jumpsuit also falls under $30, there’s no excuse not to jump on board.
