I don’t know about you, but I struggle with fitness during the holiday season. Not only are there sweet treats and indulgences around every corner 24/7, but schedules are crazy and fitting in workouts get more and more difficult. And eating too many sweets with little-to-no workouts is a bad combination. So I wanted to introduce all my readers (that’s you!) to the fitness routine that’s getting me through the holidays – the Gixo Fitness App.
First, let’s get one thing straight. I’m no fitness guru. I hardly stick with a fitness routine, I don’t eat a crazy healthy diet and I’m definitely not in the best shape. However, I have tried to make fitness a priority lately and believe in taking care of oneself. So instead of trying to start fresh after the holidays, I thought making a routine through the holidays would be a better idea. Then when a friend shared the Gixo Fitness App with me, I jumped at the chance to try it without realizing this would be the program that finally stuck.
What is Gixo you ask?
I’m not lying when I say it’s the most convenient work out plan I’ve ever been on. It’s not even a plan per say… considering I choose when and where I do any of the work outs. Which is exactly why this little fitness app is the greatest thing to happen to my routine in a long time. My excuses (especially around the holidays) always revolve around a busy schedule. Oh, I’m too busy to work out. Not enough hours in the day. I don’t want to drive to the gym. I’m sick of Jillian DVDs. Blah, blah. And bam, enter Gixo. I have zero excuses because they specialize in convenient, quick, thorough work outs you can do (almost) anywhere.
To get specific, Gixo offers live and on demand classes you can log into within seconds on your phone – hence the “anywhere” benefit. They’re hosted by various Gixo coaches from around the world and range from 11 minute stretching sessions to 40 minute bootcamps. But, my personal favorites – the 15 minute HIIT or 25 minute HIIT – are truly what I think make the fitness app so great. These are high intensity sessions that are quick and easy to fit in to any schedule. Plus, all you need is yourself. I’ve done these classes in our bedroom, the kitchen while dinner is cooking or even while visiting my parents for a weekend. No excuses! My second favorite is by far the 15 minute yoga calm hosted by Coach Jennifer. I almost always end a workout with her session. It’s amazing.
Curious? I dare you to try it. Especially if time is hard for you to carve out for yourself or a workout. Gixo goes with you everywhere and you can participate in most of their classes anytime, anywhere. It’s amazing. And you can try it for free! Use this link to get started and see for yourself how amazing and convenient Gixo really is!
Do you have a favorite fitness routine or program?
xoxo. B
