My favorite time of year. The time when the air begins to get crisp, the leaves are falling and we need to bundle up to keep warm. Our entry closet clearly proves my obsession with fall and winter jackets. I mean, they are just so fun. So many different styles, colors, fabrics, etc and when you live in the Midwest, a coat is what most people see as your outfit. We’re basically bundled up for half the year so we might as well make it good. Every year, I seem to end up with a new coat or jacket, and this year I’m 100% obsessed with plaid coats for fall.
Once I saw the variety of plaid coats available this fall, I was immediately crushing on the trend. I typically buy plain styles that go with everything. But since picking up this brown and blue plaid jacket at a local boutique, I’ve realized there’s nothing to be shy about. Plaid coats go with just as many things as solid color ones – they just add a little more fun!
Ok, so since I bought this specific plaid coat at a local boutique, I couldn’t find it online. However, I found a lot of other great options and linked them below. Some colorful, some more neutral, but all equally good. Honestly, I think you could get a different one for all fall and winter occasions. Just saying.
