Let’s start with a confession. This outfit happened completely on accident, thanks to Asos and a tiny mix up in packaging. Remember when I told you my new favorite blazer should have had matching bottoms? Well, I ordered them. And Asos grabbed the correct SKU label, but the wrong cropped pants were attached. Same color, just the wrong style. What were supposed to be burnt orange corduroy trousers turned out to be white-accent stitched cropped pants. The thing is, I can’t even be mad. At first, I was disappointed, but once I tried these funky cropped pants on, I instantly went ‘huh… not hating this’.
I’m pretty sure I had a pair almost identical in middle school. The 90s are back in full force and there’s no more hiding. Maybe it’s me being nostalgic or wanting something new and different in my closet – probably a little of both. Regardless, what I love most about these cropped pants is the detail. The white stitching, the cargo pocket and the cuff at the bottom all together make a fun statement bottom. And of course, how they truly stick out amongst my normal options. Sometimes a mistake is a hidden blessing, right?
I actually can’t find this exact pair on the Asos website (funny enough), but I did find a few similar options. Plus, Asos has so many great pairs of unique pants, I would recommend their entire pants selection because you really can’t go wrong. Oh, and don’t forget about those snake print boots. The absolute must boot of the season & I’m obsessed with this Steve Madden pair. Believe me or not, they go with everything!
