I’ve behaved so far, but after rounding all these fall shoe trends up for you guys, I may go broke. I want them all! It has been a couple years since I’ve been this obsessed with all the fall shoe trends. So much variety right now and so many drool-worthy styles, colors and details. And I didn’t even cover them all. I’ve listed my favorites below and also did the shopping for you. Of course, there are so many options out there, so I’d love to hear if you’ve found the perfect pair. Just leave me a comment below!
Sneakers
You know what’s a little difficult about sneakers? The price point. I, personally, and a few of my friends have noted how they want to load up on fashion sneakers for different outfits, but don’t want to spend $70-$100 on each pair. Here’s my thought – invest in a pair you absolutely love from a well-known brand like Nike or Reebok (who are killing it in the sneaker game), then buy a few lower quality extras that are more trendy. Target and H&M have really great options, some even under $40.
Snakeskin Boots
The absolute must boot of the season. I feel like it came out of nowhere, but regardless, I’m obsessed. And yes, I invested & will share outfit inspiration soon. They literally go with everything and make fall outfits look extremely put together and chic. I personally love the print, but if you’re hesitant (totally understandable), go for a snakeskin texture in a solid color. Still on trend and less risky. I’ve linked a few of both options.
Studded & Buckled Booties
Western elements are having a moment this fall and these studded & buckled boots are proof. I actually avoided buckles last season when I invested in my favorite Sam Edelman boots, but I now find myself crushing on them. I still like to keep tall boots sleek and timeless, but a funky ankle boot with this much detail are oh-so-fun.
Hiking Boots
Ok, don’t take this too literally and buy these boots for an 8 hour hike. That’s where my favorite Merrell Sugarbush boots come in handy – more on that here. This trend is more about the “look” of an all-terrain hiker when really, we’re just headed out for coffee on a chilly morning or having brews on the patio in late October. I cannot get over these boots. They’ve officially replaced the UGG boot, in my opinion, and look great with skinny jeans or leggings and warm wool socks. Actually, they are functional for cold weather – just not 8 hour hikes. Got it?
