How Target Can Save You In A Pinch

Well, hello friends.  It’s good to be back.  I took a week off from blogging over the 4th of July week to enjoy the holiday and time with family and friends.  I figured most of you USofA residents were doing the same.  Plus, it’s healthy to take a break sometimes and I plan to do another one over Christmas (yes, I’m planning wayyy ahead!).  Anyway, I’m back to business this week & sharing my favorite go-to spot for when you’re in an outfit pinch.  Specifically discussing how Who What Wear dresses at Target can show up for the win.

Do you know what I mean when I say outfit pinch?  I’m guessing most of you do… and if not, I may have a serious issue to deal with.  Jokes.  I’m talking about when you have an event, or any time you want to outfit plan for something & you fail to do so.  Which in turn, leaves you scrambling and stressed trying to put a look together with limited options and limited time.  Story of my life.  My solution lately?  Target.

Honestly, I wish I didn’t have to even write this post.

I could pretend I’m a great outfit planner… because I do blog about these things… but I can seriously fail when it comes to bigger events.  Here’s what happens.  I think I know what I want to wear to said event.  I may even buy something for said event.  But as the weekend of said event inches closer, I realize I either have an incomplete outfit or… better yet… I completely change my mind.  As a result, I’m pretty much always down to the wire on what to wear.  I’m extremely picky while shopping online, so most of my procrastination lies in my indecisiveness.  Or at least I like to blame it on that.  By the time I notice I’m in a pinch, I need to shop in-store anyway.

So, if you’re not already aware of Target’s mystical abilities, I’m here to tell you the mega-store will save you in a pinch.  I’m assuming most of you have a Target within at least an hour’s drive from where you live, which strengthens my argument here.  This all came about while planning for a wedding in June.  I had all these plans to order a few dresses from a favorite online retailer and, bam, we were a week away & still no order.  My fault completely.  First, I dug through my closet selections.  No-go.  Next, I ran to Target and after trying on a few, I selected this adorable Who What Wear tie-waist black dress.  A black dress is never a bad idea and I’m obsessed with this fit and silhouette.  Classic with a modern twist – could easy be dressed up or dressed down.  The whole experience had me like… what outfit pinch?  I got this.
