Next Sunday should be reserved for spoiling your mom, FYI. Let’s not forget to celebrate all those wonderful women in our lives on the 13th! Wondering what gift to get her this year? I’m lucky enough to be travelling to Florida with my mom for a weekend getaway, so Mother’s Day is covered here. I know that’s not the case for everyone, so I came up with a few Mother’s Day gift ideas.
Personalized Jewelry
Moms love a gift from the heart. And what better gift than something personalized just from you. Or you and your siblings – whatever works. Stella & Dot has an amazing engravable collection with pieces ranging from rings to layered necklaces. But, this delicate bracelet is my personal favorite. And it’s on sale for under $50!
Farmgirl Flowers
When in doubt, shower her with flowers. It’s spring and her house or office can always be brightened up with a fresh bouquet. My favorite? Farmgirl Flowers. Just look at how amazing their arrangements are. Modern and bountiful, mom will absolutely love it.
A Good Book
My mom loves getting books as gifts. Mostly because she hates picking them out for herself, but truly, a book is always a good gift option. Especially a perfect one for summer or a rainy day spent inside. I’m dying to read Into The Water by Paula Hawkins and have heard great things. If your mom isn’t into novels, try a great coffee table book or a cookbook. The idea is to find something she wouldn’t pick up herself.
Self-Care Gift Set
I love the idea of spoiling mom with a self-care gift set. At least with my mom, she doesn’t spoil herself often, so some luxury products would be something special. Personally, I would choose this luxe set from Rifle Paper Co.’s collaboration with L’Occitane. Their shea butter creams are to die for and will keep mom’s skin soft. Plus, you can’t beat that adorable packaging!
And if none of those fit your mom, I suggest a fifth option – an activity. If you’re lucky enough to be close in distance, take her shopping, take her for a pedicure. Take her to a cooking class or for a bike ride. Something you can do together. Sometimes the material things just get in the way of quality time.
Do you have a Mother’s Day gift bought yet?
