Can I say, for the hundredth time, I am horrible at spring fashion. Seriously! And to make it worse, my wardrobe is struggling because I cannot, for the life of me, have a successful shopping day. I can probably blame it on the indecisive weather we’ve been having in Iowa – yes, we’re still in sweaters – but I just need to get out of this funk. Which is exactly why the LOFT sale came at the perfect time. 30% off all tops!
Most of my struggle with outfits in the morning lies with my tops collection. After going through a couple closet purges the past few months, my selection has dwindled. I’m desperate to find some fun, spring-appropriate and even some basic tops to go with all the fun bottoms I’ve been collecting. It’s time to step up my game.
I can usually count on LOFT to have at least a couple good basic tops, but their spring items have me justifying a shopping spree. Some are super trendy, like the smocked off-the-shoulder piece shown above and some are super basic, like the “pretty please” graphic tee. Remember when I said graphic tees will make regular appearances this year? I guess this purchase is justified then… right? Since all tops are 30% off during this LOFT sale, I’m running out of reasons not to stock up.
