Truth: the Colorado trip we have this week completely snuck up on me. I mean, how is January coming to an end? I have been looking forward to this trip so much, but I guess the anticipation clouded my sense of time. And now I feel like I don’t have enough time to get ready. However, my list for what to pack for Colorado in winter stays the same year after year and considering most items have a permanent place in my wardrobe, I should be OK. It should be simply folding and stuffing into the suitcase.
Since most daylight hours will be spent on the slopes…
…that’s taken care of. Since most moonlit hours will be spent resting muscles and drinking spirits, I need some comfortable & cozy layers. Plus warm socks and good boots. There will be a lot of crossover from what we packed for Iceland, so no need to go out and buy anything. Which is great for a couple reasons – no excessive planning & way less stress.
I’ve shared some inspiration photos and linked my favorite products below. If you’re planning a trip to Colorado, or anywhere in the mountains during winter, I find these items essential.
Good Boots & Warm Socks
