The last couple weeks have been a bit hectic. Between unpacking, mounds of laundry and hurdling jet lag, everything is a bit of a blur. And this outfit, with my new favorite Old Navy sweater, rose from the depths of the laundry pile. My olive cargo pants being one of few clean options and this rib-knit sweater being washed promptly, knowing I needed it in my weekly rotation. Oh, and those boots. Oldies, but goodies that help elevate the only-clean-options outfit and somehow work perfectly. Who doesn’t love a pop of leopard? So the outfit matches the whirlwind of the last few weeks and somehow it all worked out.
Lightweight, yet extremely soft and mid-weight warm, I’ve already almost worn this Old Navy sweater out. I layered it to stay warm at dinner in Iceland and now, I’m wearing it to work alone in the fall transition weather. A good crew neck long-sleeve is essential to any wardrobe, and when you can get it for a good price – $20! – it’s even better. There are multiple color options available and I may have all of them by the end of the season.
As I mentioned above, I’ve had the pants and boots for a few seasons, but I’ve linked similar options below!
