Whenever there is a Banana Republic sale going on, it’s a good day. Seriously. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I frequent BR for classic, good quality basics that can last over time. But when they’re having a sale, I also indulge in more trendy pieces. To be honest, some of my absolute favorite closet items have come from a Banana Republic sale. Yes, more stripes. Can you ever have enough? I love this top because of the pattern but also the dark colors and one shoulder. Flattering and fun with the bow detail, it can be perfect for many summer occasions. Pair it with white jeans, a denim skirt or your best skinny denim & heels.
Embellished Riley Fit Shirt
I’ve had a white sleeveless button-down in my closet for years and I wear it all the time. While it’s blazing hot outside, this kind of top is such a great option to look chic while staying comfortable. My old one is plain, but I’m in love with the embellished version. It just adds another detail to a simple outfit. No jewelry necessary! Oh, and during the sale, it’s under $40!
Print Belted Sleeveless Top
How cute is this print? I love how feminine this top is and unlike other loose-fitting options, this gives some shape. If you’re not into the print, BR has this same top in other prints and various solid colors. Honestly, this is a basic that will stick around for years! Yes, you need it.

You know my obsession with embroidery… and how cute are these shorts? I tend to keep my outfits simple in the summer and a stand out piece like this will effortlessly elevate a casual outfit. And even though they’re unique doesn’t mean they can’t be versatile. Pair them with a plain tee & flip flops or a lace shirt & heels. Or get creative with a graphic tee.
