time for a break… spring break.

To be honest, March has completely snuck up on me.  But I’m guessing for some of you, time has drug on because you have exciting spring break plans to look forward to.

Lucky you!

Whether you’re headed to the mountains for a little skiing/snowboarding – jealous – or escaping to the beach for much needed R&R, spring break is an exciting week to count down to.  It’s a long couple months from the holiday excitement and a break from the norm is always welcomed.  Thinking about the beach reminds me of our New Year’s trip to the British Virgin Islands.  One of the best days was spent pulling up to Sandy Spit – a tiny island lingering by it’s lonesome of the coast off Jost Van Dyke in the Caribbean.  Also nicknamed “Corona Island” because of it’s famous feature on Corona commercials.  This beaut really is the most picturesque beach I’ve ever laid eyes on and would be the perfect spring break day trip if you travel to the BVI’s.

A great beach trip wouldn’t be complete without a great swim wardrobe, so I’ve linked my suit and other favorites below!

Isn’t it gorgeous! One-of-a-kind that’s for sure. And we typically don’t travel during spring break either. The prices are crazy!

They are so crazy! We just signed up with airbnb and got a $35 rate a night for a place in Daytona, FL for bike week (about a week out from typical spring break). THAT’S the way to travel!

WOW! Amazing price! Have a wonderful time – you’ll probably enjoy it even more after the spring break rush!
