We’ve officially made it to Christmas week! So much planning, gifting and making goes into celebrating this holiday and I’m so looking forward to a long weekend spent with family and friends. One filled with love and happiness… and food and drinks. Ammiright?
Among a traditional holiday spread, the food and sweet treats are bountiful, leaving just enough room for a refreshing cocktail. A mixture that isn’t too sweet, yet warms you from the inside out. That’s why I’m deeming this Cranberry Moscow Mule as the perfect holiday cocktail. A traditional Mule is simple enough, but with some added flavor and Christmas color, this mix is sure to be a party favorite.
Copper Mugs: Williams Sonoma | Stir Sticks: Target | Serving Tray: Target
Cranberry Moscow Mule
Ice
1 shot vodka
Ginger Beer
Splash of Cranberry Juice
Juice of half a lime
Cranberries & lime slices for garnish
Put ice in copper mug, pour in vodka. Fill cup with ginger beer until almost full. Splash in cranberry juice and top with lime. Garnish with lime slices and fresh cranberries.
Easily adapt the recipe to your liking! Use cranberry vodka for a stronger flavor, or leave the cranberry out altogether. Just make sure to keep the garnish to spread that Christmas cheer!
Do you have a favorite holiday drink?

mmm yum! I’m not sure that I’ve ever had ginger beer- Is there a brand that specializes in ginger beer or would I just find a bottle of literally ginger beer lol I love the overall presentation of the drink though, the cups you used are perfect and totally festive! Cheers!

Thanks so much! I’m not sure about different brands for ginger beer – every time I go it seems there are only 1 or 2 brands out there! We’ve never picked up a bad one!

Nom!! My family have decided to try Procecco and Chambord this year instead of the usual variety of ales, attempting to be “posh” hahah
