It’s true – I found it!
Maybe it’s the anticipated season change, or the fall wardrobe need want list that I can’t jump on quite yet, but either way, my go-to outfit of the past few weeks has been casual tees and ripped jeans. Simple, easy, dressed up, dressed down, good for (almost) any end-of-summer occasion.
Which is why I’m very excited about this roll sleeve tee from Banana Republic. I picked it up alongside another purchase, on sale, and had no idea how much I’d love it. It is one of those basics that will be a closet staple for multiple years. The crew neck is flattering, the rolled sleeves add a fun detail and the loose fit is comfortable and all can be easily polished with skinny jeans and a statement necklace. Plus, with BR, you get the quality along with the great deal. Win, win!
Transitioning into a fall wardrobe has also been on my mind. My first step? Incorporating darker colors. Pairing gray denim and pastel gems with a black shirt keep the look light while not screaming summer… or fall for that matter. And the weather will remind us it’s not time for boots quite yet, so medium brown wedges are perfectly appropriate.

Nine times out of ten, I will pick an outfit like this for a simple gathering. It would be great finished with flats and a choker, too!
