denim.

No matter how much I try to avoid the topic, summer really is coming to an end.  We have limited time to complete bucket lists, go for boat rides and watch sunsets at 8:30pm.  Which means I also have limited time to wear all the summer outfits I still have sitting in my closet!

This denim romper is one of those items.  Another Asos find, I couldn’t wait to add it to my summer wardrobe and now I’m shocked it hasn’t been pulled out more often.  Maybe the Iowa State Fair is the perfect place for it’s public debut.  Yes, no?

Well, lucky for me, the denim trend isn’t going anywhere for fall, so this happens to be my first pick for “transitional” pieces.  Leaving it simple with a choker and sneakers will be great throughout August and adding ankle boots or a sweater works for warm fall days.

The sneaker trend is something new for me, and at times, still uncomfortable as I’m used to wedges or heels for length.  But I love the ease of this look and at least I know my feet won’t ache after a few hours of walking!
