Happy 4th of July!
Ok, so it’s not officially the 4th, but I’m going to bet most of you are already celebrating. With this beautiful Midwest weather, the weekend will be full of fun outdoor activities, grilled food and fireworks. Oh, and of course, festive drinks! I would never forget about the drinks.
Three things I love about this white wine sangria: the simple recipe, the crisp, summery taste and the festive colored fruit to mix in! You must add this to your drink menu.
Red, White, and Blue White Wine Sangria
- 1 bottle Moscato white wine
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- Red & blue fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, blackberries)
Combine wine and triple sec in large pitcher. Remove stems and other non-edible portions from fruit and add to the pitcher. Allow the sangria to sit or serve immediately. It can be made up to a day in advance.
Thanks to Camille @ Growing Up Gabel for this original recipe!
Do you have a favorite red, white and blue drink?

So good plus I didn’t feel all dehydrated the next morning like I do with beer or mixed drinks.

My Spanish mother would have spit out her Rioja at the thought of a white wine sangria. But, just between us, it’s very tasty! Well done! If you like to read about other wines, check out our California wine country blog: http://www.topochinesvino.com.
