Looking at June’s calendar back in May, I knew it would fly by, but it still never fails how shocked I am when months disappear. Two weddings, a baby shower, lake trip, work, every day life… all a blur, but the happenings of a great summer month! Now onto July.
Reading: The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins – I refuse to watch any movie trailers until I’m finished!
Working on: a living room wall make over – picture ledge post coming soon!
Wearing: culottes and stripes to stay comfortable in the summer heat
Making: plans for traveling later this year!
Drinking: vodka lemonades in the sun
Watching: Game of Thrones – I mean, who isn’t?
Loving: Crooked Tree Traders string art on Etsy (pictured above)
Smelling: grillables – our summer menu and my way of getting the husband to cook!
Enjoying: local events! Especially the Downtown Farmer’s Market and DSM Arts Festival
Quoting: “I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.” –John Burrows
Feeling: anxious for July 4th celebrations and a whole month with no weekend plans
I love when recaps land on a Friday – TGIF!
