the grammy’s.

Another red carpet and awards show has wrapped up for the season and The Grammy’s did not disappoint.  I should admit the red carpet arrivals are my favorite part, and probably get more of my attention than the actual awards or performances – oops!  But last night was one to remember.  The performances ranged from Justin Beiber to Carrie Underwood to The Eagles to Lionel Richie… and it was amazing.  Even though Adele had some technical difficulties, she shined once again.  The Weekend took me, and maybe everyone, by surprise when he sang Can’t Feel My Face in slow mo.  Wow, that man can sing!  The standing ovation was well deserved.

And, let’s face it, Gaga’s performance spoke for itself.  Amazing.  But we all knew it would be, right?

Now, back to fashion.  I was a little late to the red carpet party and the first celeb I saw pop up was Taylor Swift.  Wow.  I didn’t have much to compare it to at that point, but it was an automatic favorite.

In for my #1 pick – T.Swift in Atelier Versace

It’s hard to resist a well-tailored, cutout jumpsuit and this one gives me all the feels.
Up next, in a very close #2 pick – Kaley Cuoco in Naeem Khan

This has already been debated by The Fashion Police crew during E! Live From the Red Carpet, but I don’t care.  Before you agree with the haters, remember its Grammy night – not the SAGs.  If Florence showed up in anything basic, I would be heart broken.  This dress would wear most girls, but Florence wears this dress.
For my #3 – Florence Welch in Gucci

Possibly another debatable choice, but again, I don’t care.  I have a thing for women in menswear on the red carpet and Zendaya answered my prayers last night showing up in a double breasted, tailored suit.  The epitome of “cool”.
At #4 – Zendaya in Dsquared2

Simplicity can be stunning, and if you want to pull it off during music’s biggest night, add a little bit of drama.  I not only love this dress, but I adore the entire look.  Loose waves, simple make up, and one dramatic element.  This rocked it in my book.
Last, but not at all least, at #5 – Ashley Monroe in Georges Hobeika

There were so many great looks last night, it was hard to choose!
