Starting the day baking cookies may be my new favorite hobby. What a great Sunday it has been with these delicious M&M chocolate chip treats. The dough chilled overnight and I woke up excited to make the house smell of fresh baked cookies.
If you missed yesterday’s post, check out part one for step by step instructions.
Are you ready to see how these sweet treats turned out?
Once your shaped dough has chilled at least 2 hours, or overnight, take them out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. On a greased cookie sheet, place the cookies 2 inches apart, baking 8 cookies at a time.
Bake for 11 minutes or until edges are set – mine typically stay in a few minutes longer. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without something sweet and these cookies are perfect. Package them up cute with red and pink ribbon, or display them on a tray for that special someone. My valentine got his a little early, but I’m hearing no complaints!
I can’t wait to see how yours turn out!
